Dynamic Cure Test for Most VLC Materials
The Curing Light Performance Test Kit is the perfect tool for monitoring the effectiveness of any dental curing light with almost any visible light-cured dental material. This dynamic test allows you to accurately measure the depth of cure after light-curing. The Performance Test Kit features a 2-piece mold which allows you to cure a fixed amount of material and then open the mold and measure the actual depth of cure.
The test kit is extremely easy to use:
1. Apply light-cured material to both cavities in the assembled mold.
2. Light-cure material with curing light for time recommended by material manufacturer.
3. Take apart mold and check depth of cure of material. Small cavity is 2mm deep and should normally be completely cured. Deep cavity is 8mm deep. Remove any non-cured material from the deeper cavity; then measure the total depth of cure.
