LINKMAX is a dual cure composite resin designed to cement various types of prostheses to tooth structure: composite (micro-fill or hybrid) inlays, onlays, bridges, veneers and crowns; porcelain inlays, onlays, veneers, and crowns; precious and non-precious metal and PFM inlays, onlays, crowns, and bridges. It uses a self-etching primer to bond to tooth structure and separate primers to bond to prostheses, core build-ups, and posts made out of different materials.
LINKMAX's NEW Paste Pak Dispenser saves time and reduces waste. It delivers consistent mixes every time - no matter how little or large a mix required. Simply adjust the dispenser's metering slide and dispense the exact amount of LINKMAX Resin Cement you need with the exact mixing ratio for optimal physical properties.
LINKMAX Resin Cement mixes in about 10 seconds, has about 30 seconds working time after it comes in contact with tooth surfaces primed with self-etching primer (LINKMAX has about 5 minutes working time at room temperature in absence of light before seating the prostheses). Excess cement is light-cured in 1-2 seconds, then easily removed with a hand instrument. All surfaces of the restoration are light-cured for 30 seconds prior to finishing (Self-cures in 6 minutes).
Paste-Paste Formulation
- No time spent measuring, mixing powders, eye-balling liquid drop sizes, or squeezing out tubes of catalyst and paste.
- Mixes to a perfect consistency in 10 seconds. Easy to recognize homogenous mix.
- Excellent handling - mixed cement can be easily applied to restoration without dripping.
Paste Pak Dispenser
- Produces ideal consistency every time.
- Dispenses the exact mixing ratio no matter how little or how much material dispensed.
- Metering slide enables the user to control the volume of material dispensed to reduce waste.
Firm, Long-Term Bond
Self-Etching Primer
- High compressive, adhesive, and sheer bond strengths.
- Excellent bond to tooth structure as well as (with correct primer) porcelain, micro-filled hybrid resin, composite resin, and precious and non-precious metals.
- Strong, yet flexes under stress to withstand impact forces.
- Durability and strength assure longevity and integrity.
Two-second Light-Cure - Cleanup one minute after seating
- Temporarily light-cured LINKMAX removes easily with a hand instrument.
- No radical clean-up procedure should be required.
Dual Cure: Light-Cure and Self-Cure
- Light-cure each surface of restoration in 20 seconds.
- When used under metal or when cement is difficult to expose to light, LINKMAX self-cures in 6 minutes from placement of prostheses.
Low Film Thickness
- 2.3 um film thickness. Flows extremely well.
- Film thickness is not a limiting factor in the fit of the restoration.
Fluoride Release
- LINKMAX contains fluro-alumino silicate glass filler which release fluoride.
- Decreases the chance for secondary decay.
