Impression Material for Dental Implants

Why a special material for implants?
Considering that normal tooth movement is about 100 microns in each axis whereas an implant fixture is about 10 microns, impression accuracy is about 10 times more critical when it comes to implants. NEW EXAIMPLANT lets you achieve precise duplication of the coping and abutment positioning so you get a highly accurate fit between coping and abutment.

EXA Impression Material Compatibility

Each cartridge contains enough material for
approximately 3 full lower arch impressions or two
full upper arch impressions.

Implant Transfer Technique:
	1.	Syringe EXAIMPLANT over fixtures and dentition (blockout undercuts).
	2.	Fill impression tray with EXAIMPLANT material and take the full impression.
	3.	After 3-4 minutes, remove the set impression.
	4.	Remove impression coping.
	5.	Attach abutment analog to the impression coping.
	6.	Place the impression copings back into the impression.

Custom Tray Technique:
	1.	Syringe EXAIMPLANT over fixtures and dentition (blockout undercuts). Use INJECTION for combined technique
	2.	Relieve one layer of custom tray. Apply EXAIMPLANT Adhesive and dry with syringe air
	3.	Extrude the EXAIMPLANT material into the tray.
	4.	Seat in the mouth and hold for 3 minutes.
	5.	Attach abutment analog to the impression coping.
	6.	Clean and disinfect the impression

Hydrophilic

Smaller contact angle than most Heavy Body Materials enables a uniform material flow in the moist oral environment.
Flows readily over gypsum model surfaces to produce exacting details.

Medium Body

Although extremely rigid at final set, EXAIMPLANT is a medium body material so that it can be used as a monophase material.
Totally compatible with EXA impression materials including EXA INJECTION and REGULAR TYPE.

Dimensional Stability

Less linear dimensional change means you can pour a model immediately or up to 2 weeks after the impression is taken and get the same highly accurate reproduction. Hydrogen scavenger formula.

Special Adhesive

Creates chemical adhesion between silicone impression material and a custom resin tray.

Stable in Cold Disinfectant Solutions

Can be easily disinfected by immersion in a glutaraldehyde or spraying with a hard surface disinfectant.
Rinse impression thoroughly before and after disinfection.
