The COE MIX 5000 is a digitally controlled high speed triturator with both manual set and pre-programmed timing modes.

At an oscillation frequency of 4200 cps., the COE MIX 5000 will mix virtually all of today’s encapsulated dental materials including amalgam.

To Use the Mixer: Activate capsule as required. Insert capsule into the capsule holder so that the tip goes through the slotted side of the holder (points to left). Turn on master switch. Close cover, set timer and press start ("S" button). Cover must be in down position or the unit will not operate.

Manual Timer Set: Adjust the "+" and "-" buttons to the desired time in seconds. Push the "S" button to start the triturating. The timer will count down and shut off at zero. The time selected will remain programmed until manually changed.

Pre-Programmed Timer Settings: The COE MIX 5000 is equipped with 10 pre-set timing modes. Push the "M" button to initiate pre-programmed memory - yellow indicator light will turn on. Push the "M" button again to view mixing time (yellow light will go out) on that mode. Continue pushing the "M" button until the desired mixing time is selected. When the yellow light is on, the indicator shows the pre-set mode number; when the light is off the indicator shows the number of seconds. Once the desired memory mode (or mix time) is selected, press the "S" button to start trituration.
